"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding." - Khalil Gibran
Can you imagine going through life smoothly without any pain in all its forms?
While I admit that I don’t welcome any pain myself and I don’t think it is a necessary element for enlightenment, I still think that there is a great value to feeling some kind of pain. If we reflect on everything that happened in our lives, we may get a lot more meaning and insights in the pains that we went through. Pain can be a wake up tool to help us see more of the beauty of every aspect in our present, appreciate some gifts like the people who journey with us without conditions and prompt us to revise ourselves and certain circumstances within our control so we can move forward to a whole new meaning of living to fulfill a greater purpose.
